・The History of the bagle is not clear. Legend has it that in 1683 in Vienna, Austria, a local Jewish baker wanted to thank the king of Poland for protecting his countrymen from Turkish invaders. He made a special hard roll in the shape of a riding stirrup-Bugel in German - because the king liked riding horse and giving the bagel its distinct shape.





・As bagels gained popularity in Poland, they were officially sanctioned as gifts for women in childbirth and mentioned in community registers. Mothers used them as nutritious teething rings that their infants could easily grasp - a practice still popular today.




1,All ingredients, flour, salt, yeast, water, and various flavorings, are mixed together in a batch.
Since yeast is a living organism,it also has a limited life span as the yeast dough must be used within about 48 hours after mixing for the best bagel product.
2,The mixing can occur with a machine purchased for mixing bagel dough, suchas a spiral mixer. Mixing takes about 10-12 minutes and is carefully timed.
3,When the mixing is finished, the dough is taken from the mixer, put on a table and laid in strips.The bagel is just a clump of dough at this point.
4,Next, the dough rolls under a pressure plate, which rolls the dough into a cigarlike form. This cigar shape drops onto the former, a round forming tube, which rolls it around and meshes the ends together to form the bagel shape.
5,A person picks the bagels off of the belt at a considerably fast speed and puts them onto a cornmeal-coated board.
6,Bagles boils in boiling water.
7,These floating bagels are scooped out and laid out onto sticks, which are burlap-covered aluminum. The toppings (poppy seeds, sesame seeds, salt, etc.) are sprinkled on the top of the bagel.


How to make bagle

1 1/2 cups warm water (112-115 degrees F)
2 tablespoons dry yeast
3 tablespoons sugar1 tablespoon salt
4 1/4 cups bread flour8 cups of water, for boiling1 egg white, lightly beaten1 tablespoon water1,First of all put the bread flour in a bowl2,Add yeast and sugar3,Add hot water and knead4,First of all make it to a big chunk, and then divided into small chunks and leave it for approx 5 minutes
5,Make a hole in the middle with your finger and boil it for 1 min
6,Then you bake it in the oven heated to 180 degrees~ 200 degrees for 15 minutes....
7,FINISH~~~!!!!!!!

About reading the book

When I was the child,my mother read me picturebooks.
I could not sleep at night,and my mother always read books untill I fall asleep.
So when I read the book in bed,I fall asleep soon.

Marble cookie

I cooked Marblr cookies yesterday.

I was worry about whether it is success because I first made it.

But surprisingly itwas easily,I can make soon.

Next time, If I cook it again,I want to give Ms.Yamauchi.

Chris

These picture are my favorite dog"chris".
He always plays a trick like a child at the mischievous age.
He makes me trouble.
But I like him.When I got home,he jumped me and licked my face.
Especially,he looks cute when he's asleep.
In future,I take care of himpreciously.
